A youth misspent on rock n' roll tours, mishaps in Japan and a well spent stint at BBC TV Current Affairs, Dana’s path to copywriting has been a meandering (but interesting) one! She found her advertising copywriting feet at Brisbane radio station 4ZZZ while gaining a degree in literature and creative writing. She spent several years as Senior Creative Writer at two Brisbane radio stations and has been writing for the web, SEO copywriting and digital marketing since 2009.

An award winning journalist, radio presenter and highly experienced copywriter, Brisbane born talent Justine Kearney holds a degree in journalism from The University of Queensland. Justine worked for many years as a Brisbane radio journalist, entertainment reporter and copywriter.

Having completed a Bachelor of Arts (Communications), Dani began her career at Federal Publishing Company writing marketing copy for magazines ranging from Town & Country Needlecraft to Live to Ride.

She soon followed the siren song of commercial radio, writing ads and broadcasting for the next 13 years all over Australia and New Zealand, including Brisbane and Sydney. The ad writing taught her the gentle craft of crammingasmuchinformationaspossibleintojustthirtyseconds-andstillbeinterestingattentiongrabbingandinformative. The broadcasting side meant learning to speak to potentially tens of thousands of people at once whilst still making it seem personal.

As Dani looks far more fetching in a pair of fleecy pyjamas than she does in tight fitting radio station logo-ed t-shirts, she joined the freelance copywriter throng several years ago where she enjoys running her own female voice over business while working with the professional and imaginative types that make up Talk About Creative.

Simone was flung from the depraved destitution of art school into the cut and thrust of radio advertising clutching only her Bachelor of Creative Industries (Majoring in Public Relations) and quickly learnt how to pitch a winning campaign. 

Using these newfound powers for good she helped oil the wheels of democracy with her persuasive ‘skillz’,  working with local government.  From Mt Isa to Thursday Island to the Scenic Rim, she engaged with mayors, councillors and government agencies to help define a vital multimillion dollar project.

Now she manages her futures investment portfolio (aka kids) with a smart mouth and nimble fingers, assets she brings in abundance to the agile online marketing team at Talk About Creative.

Ngaire Stirling is the owner/editor of Brisbane Kids, the largest parenting community in Brisbane with over 35000 followers on Facebook. Ngaire has worked in sales and marketing management in major Australian companies as well as heading local networking groups and operating a social media and business mentoring service. A qualified teacher with a degree in Public Relations and Marketing, Ngaire's experience in social media strategy is proven to  build brand awareness and grow online communities. 

Project/Content Manager

After ten years in Public Service and while also in service to her family, Kelly joined Talk About Creative as our project, content, office and everything else manager!  Kelly uses her awesome skills, experience and qualifications to keep client projects on track and the team sane.  In addition to being an admin extraordinaire, she can be found pounding the guest blogging beat, doing your SEO, managing your project and chatting via email.  She's a mum to three big kids and loves being able to have a family friendly job almost as much as she loves having a friendly job away from the family
